I Never Want to Leave You

“Vanee! Why you didn’t bring the medicines just now?”
“Mom I’m sorry. I was in rush and forgot everything. I promise it will not happen again.” I smiled toward my mother.
Today, the class in my school finished earlier because there was an event that our teachers needed to attend. I was happy because I could go the cinema with Gecko.
“Wow! See? I got it!” Gecko screamed beside me.
“Hey! Why you got to be so loud? Why you take me to this place meanwhile you playing that game?”
“I got a new land baby!” whispered near my ears.
“Oh ya? So I will get a free ice cream alright baby?” I answered and our faces became very close
“Ice? Cream?” he asked awkwardly.
“Yes!” I smiled.
Thank God for sending Gecko to this earth. He was my best friend and the ones who I loved. He always knew my willing and condition. We have been passed everything together for about more than six years and I felt that I was being closer with him. I like how Gecko treated me like his sibling. He freeze me when I was angry. He would sad when I was crying, excited when I was happy, and smile when I was more than happy. Once in my life time, it is my first time having such a great best friend and brother. He respects me much, so then I respect him more than everything.
“Vanee. Please hear me. Do not be too busy and please be aware with your conditions. We are all wondering you all the times.” My father entered my bedroom and told me everything he expect from me.
“Father, I knew that everything will not happen smoothly. I must accept everything god decide for me and that will be the best. That is also for you and all our family. Everything will be okay. Don’t worry.”
The next day, I went to school as usual and met Gecko at the canteen.
“Ko, I see that Riza done many things to show his feeling to me.”
“And then?” he answered.
Gecko always got jealous when I talked about Riza. Since we were in an elementary school, Gecko always compete Riza in case of having me as a girlfriend. Gecko never knows that he always wins my heart and beat Riza for sure.
In the evening after been treating by Gecko, I went back home and took a rest until I fell asleep. After probably a few minutes, my phone rang. That was a message.
“Vanee, could you please go outside your house?” I smiled while reading that message and then I went outside slowly.
“Vanee!” from across the street, I saw Riza brought a big flower bouquet and a bar of chocolate.
“I’m so sorry for disturbing your time.” He said.
“Its okay.”
“Would you like to receive these?”
“I like chocolate. But I have it later on with Gecko. Thanks!”
“Where will both of you go by the way?”
“We will do the homework. We usually do it every evening at my house.”
Every evening Gecko came to my house to finish some homework. But I banned Riza to join it. I was afraid Gecko would be angry.
“Ko, he came here just now and gave me these. Seriously, I thought that was you who sent me the message and told me to go outside my house. But it’s okay. Let’s have it together!”
“Why?” I was shock Gecko asked me why.
“What do you mean? I want we have it together. Is that wrong choice?”
“Why you want to have it together with me?” his tone was different.
“Vanee. You always talked about Riza with me. But in the other hand, you always avoid him for every single thing he done for you. You always said somehow you couldn’t accept him yet. And the most important thing is that you never allowed me to love you. You said that I cannot have you as that will broke our friendship which is very beautiful and great for you. But however, from your actions, decisions those didn’t show even you loved Riza. However, I felt that you always put me above from Riza.”
“Vanee, I have forced my heart not to love you and that’s hurt me a lot. It is just because I want to see you happy with Riza. However I also sacrificed my deep feeling whenever you talked about Riza to me. But then I confuse. Whether I need to keep it for you, or I need to lose you.”
I couldn’t deny my teardrops and I kept in silence.
One week later, I went to a hospital and doctor said that I need to stay there for having a better treatment.
“You must be strong Vanee! I believe your spirit could fight this cancer.” I heard my mother cried and wished me a lot as well as my big family.

Day by day passed, and I felt not even better. I left some letters for my family and of course for Gecko. I knew that leaved everything I loved is not a better way, but I knew that god decisions will always be the best way.

THE LEGEND OF MAHSURI - FOLKTALE - CERITA RAKYAT

Hello guys! Here we are, presenting you the next story :)
Its a folktale actually, and I paraphrased it based on some resources.
This legend comes from Malay and has a very great value inside.
Don't wait to read it and please enjoy :)

The Legend of Mahsuri

Long time ago, between 1762 and 1800 when Kedah was governed by Sultan Abdullah Mukarram Shah, lived a pretty young woman named Mahsuri with her family in Padang Matsirat of Langkawi island. Langkawi island is located in the northern part of Malaysia. Mahsuri’s father and mother moved from their native Phuket, Thailand to the island of Langkawi in order to get a better life. Although Mahsuri was a new arrival in the island, but all the villagers easily realized her beauty and kindness. Most of them said that Mahsuri was the most beautiful woman in the island. And suddenly she met a warrior named Wan Darus.
“You are very beautiful.” Said Wan Darus on his way to go home.
Mahsuri stopped a little while and said, “Who are you Mr.?”
“Hi. My name is Wan Darus. I’m one of the warrior in this country. I think you’re a new immigrant here. May I know your name?” asked Wan Darus politely.
“My name’s Mahsuri. Yes, I have just moved here 2 weeks ago.” Mahsuri answered with a sweet smile.
Wan Darus was amazed, as that was his first time to meet a new friendly and beautiful woman. So he kept in touch with her. He introduced and took her to every single place she didn’t know yet at that time. Mahsuri respected very much for what Wan Darus had done with her. For Mahsuri, Wan darus was such a mature and wise person. Until one day they fell in love. Soon, Mahsuri was proposed by Wan Darus and they had a beautiful wedding rejoicing with attending of all the villagers in Langkawi island.
A year after their marriage, Mahsuri gave a birth to a baby boy and he was named Mat Arus.
“Father, where will you go?” A little Mat Arus asked while seeing his father brought a lot of stuffs.
“Hi, I will not go anywhere. I just want to buy something at the nearest shop. Don’t be so naughty with your mother at home ok?” Wan Darus answered with lots of compassion, as he saw his son just kept playing with some toys and had not understood enough with what he implied. Siamese War forced Wan Darus to leave home and fought with others warriors. He leaved his little boy and his wife alone.
“Take care with your self.” Mahsuri hugged his husband with tears fell down.
“Please wish me safe and take care of our son. I will back home soon, I will never let you live alone for longer.”
They had a sad romantic farewell and after days passed, Mahsuri realized about his husband duty. So she started to accustom about those conditions.
One day, there was a traveler man came to the island named Deraman. While Deraman was walking along the street, he met Mahsuri.
“Excusme, may you help me please?” Deraman made Mahsuri stopped.
“Yes, what can I do for you?” Mahsuri answered with a very welcome voice.
“My name’s Deraman. I’d love to travel in this beautiful island. Could you guide me  to some interesting pleaces here? Because I arrived here yesterday and still didn’t know much about this island.”
“My pleasure. I will help you but now I need to go home first. My son already waited for me. If you want to join also, please join with me.”
Day by day passed, Mahsuri guided Derama for several months and they became a good friend. As Mahsuri had a great behavior and also beautiful appearance, lots of women in the entire island got jealous, more over Mahora, the village chief’s wife who was also Mahsuri’s sister-in law. She took a chance to spread some negative rumors about Mahsuri. She said that Mahsuri was having an affair with Deraman in absence of Wan Darus. The villagers easily believed with those rumors and started to hate Mahsuri.
“Hey, naughty woman! Come out! You must be killed! You are not proper enough to live in this island!” cried all the villagers in fornt of Mahsuri’s house.
“Yes, while his husband leaving her with her son, she did date with a new handsome man and even usually went out to travel together. What a naughty wife she is!” cried Mahora with distinct tone to support the condition. Mahsuri open the door and was very shocked by them.
“What are you doing? Deraman is my good friend. I help…”
“Stop your nonsense!” cried some of them cutting Mahsuri’s explanation.
Mahsuri tried many times to say the truth that she was just a friend of Deraman, but all the villagers did not trust her. They did agree with Mahora’s rumors and strongly stated Mahsuri to death.
Mahsuri could not believe that she would be killed rudely by her closest neighbors just because of her weakness to tell the truth. She could not do anything when all the villagers tied her to a pole. One by one of the villagers stabbed her with keris, but however she did not die. When she got a few seconds without feeling hurted, she tried to plead the innocence but no one believed her. Then with hard breath, she said
“My neighbors, I will be die if you kill me with my family keris and if this is the appropriate time for me to die, I will accept but the thing that all of you must know that Deraman is just my friend. However, if you could not respect my innocence, I wish that this island will get a bad life in every single thing for until seven generations.”
After several failed attempts to kill her, Mahsuri told the villagers that she was only can be killed by her family keris. When she stabbed by her family keris, a while blood flowed from her body to signal her innocence. The villagers shocked to see her white blood and realized their mistake, but that was too late. Mahsuri already passed away and she cursed the village to have bad luck for seven generations.
Not long after the tragedy, Wan Darus came back home and shocked to hear about his wife’s death. He decided to leave Langkawi with his son and his family in law.

The local people of Langkawi believed the legend, and some bad facts happened in the seven generation period, like some wars were happened, the local people burnt their rice field due to avoid Siamese souldiers took their fields. The place now become the popular place being visited by the tourist and well known as “Beras Terbakar or Burnt Rice”

FRIGHTENING STORY - A JOURNEY THROUGH HELL

Hello everyone! :) i will introduce you to the next story called "A Journey Through Hell". The purpose is that to tell you the value that you can learn by reading this text. hopefully you enjoy it and don't forget to give any comments and supports :)

A Journey Through Hell

Last week I went back home from my boarding house. That was around 10 p.m when I saw the clock in my boarding house. But I decided to go, because usually it just takes around one hour to arrive in my home at Tegallalang.
On the way back home, especially when I was passing Denpasar, I saw a lot of vehicles still passed the street. So I didn’t even realize that it was already darker. But when I went straight to the north until I entered the village area, I started to feel a difference.
“Oh ya. It’s already dark. It’s just me on this street.” I whispered to myself.
Throughout the village, I need to pass three graveyards which the last graveyard is the longest but the nearest one to my house. When I entered the first graveyard, I didn’t feel anything and so did while entering the second one. After a few minutes passed those two graveyards, now it’s time for me to pass the last one. I felt both afraid and happy. I felt afraid because usually there is no vehicle passing that way in a dark and late night. Meanwhile, I would be happy because it only took a few second to arrive in my home after passing the graveyard.
Before entering that graveyard, I prayed and wished a lot to make myself stay calm. There are only two lamps throughout the graveyard and made the situation more terrifying. The lamps didn’t work well because it was hidden by big trees. My prediction was right, there was no vehicle passing the way, so I tried to keep myself calm. I heard so many insects were cawing. But I kept calm and opened my helmet’s glass in order I could see the way clearly. But after a second, something was rolling from the graveyard to the street.
“Drug, dug, dug!” it sounded very mysterious and frightened.
I didn’t think that was a coconut because the shape was not round. It looked like imperfect square with white color. My heart beat faster and I said to myself,
“God. Its just me here. Please.” I drove my motorbike fast and hoped to arrive home safely.
When I arrived home, I told my mother about the accident and she scold me a lot. That was not because I drove my bike fast, but because I went home in a very late night and she wondered about me on the way back home. She wondered a lot about my safety. My mother also told me to pray whenever I am, although it is just in our hearts but God will always listen for that.

I was traumatic for a few days after that accident, and I learn not to go anywhere in a very late night. Besides I also thankful of God because I was still safe and nothing made me injured physically at that time.

cerita singkat bahasa inggris "Buy Milk"

“Buy Milk”

When my brother was 2 years old, he was really spoiled. He cried day by day when he couldn’t get something he want at that time. His name is Kadek Arya. The one and only who always followed his eagerness was my father. That’s why, until now he acts so cute in front of my father, especially when he want to buy his favorite drink, that was milk.
If I could turn back the time, I want to say how angry I was, when I heard his crying but in the other hand I want to say how deeply my love for him is. Unfortunately I cannot. At that time, I got angry because I felt so disturbed everytime by his crying. I couldn’t finish my homework, I failed to consentrate to something when I heard his whimper. I tried to buying him some bottle of milks, even I use my collected money to buy that milks.
My parent actually have bought him some bottles of milk. Beside that is really important to keep his health, my parent also happy to see when he drunk the milk. But I couldn’t control my emotion, I directly went out to find a store and bought milks. All the custumers and the staffs at the store looked at me, but I didn’t care and just keep my high emotion and showed them a face that full of angrier.
I back home fastly and opened the door and then stuck the straw and told him to drink it as fast as he could. Finally? I got nothing. He just keep crying all the time, and I started to speak stronger to him.
Did you know? Sometimes, children not only need milk, another important think that they need is caring, moreover in a space of family. The difference of modern people and old-fashioned people is the way they take care of their family. We can say that the modern people now like to take care of their family by instant way but not with the old-fashioned people, and I think I am one of the instant people in this modern condition.
At that time, my mother said that I was really rude. She also said that I really didn’t understand about the meaning of child’s crying. That was right, my parent never do that either with me or my brother. So my mother got angry with me as well, and that was really crowded situation I have ever passed. I realized that bought milk was not the solution of my younger brother’s crying at that time.

I did apologize with my father, my mother and of course with my lovely brother. And I didn’t know what magic has come to us, my younger brother not as spoiled as that time again. I love my family and promise won’t ever make them broke again.
